Legacy Endowment Fund
National parks were established for purposes of long-term preservation as well as public enjoyment. The Legacy Fund supports projects and programs of long-term significance in perpetuity for Rocky Mountain National Park. The Fund fosters stewardship through philanthropic gifts given by public spirited donors dedicated to helping the park.

National parks are promises we make to the future. An endowment conveys a legacy of stewardship from one generation to the next.

Created in 1915, Rocky Mountain National Park has already served four generations of visitors. Looking ahead, the park must be protected and prepared for generations to come.

The Legacy Endowment Fund sustains and strengthens Rocky Mountain National Park—now and for future generations. A “fund of opportunity,” the Legacy Endowment Fund provides funding for essential park projects. For instance, it allows RMNA to quickly move forward when key land parcels are up for sale.
